How light are you?
Calculate your weight using the Body Mass Index formula:
MI = Body weight (in kilograms) divided by Body height x Body height (in metres).
A body weight of 20-25 BMI is considered normal.
Example: you are 1.80 m tall and you weigh 69 kg. Your BMI is then: 69 divided by 1.80 x 1.80 = 21.29. A BMI of 21.29 means a healthy weight.
Tips for a lighter weight:
- Every morning, drink a glass of boiled water with lemon juice and some salt on an empty stomach.
- Eat one apple (or more) a day. 25% of an apple is air. It contains no fat and only 80 calories.
- Chew well. This automatically means eating slowly and will guard you against eating too much.
- Choose any diet you want.
